Festivals and Parades

This weekend our children's fall festival (read: school fundraiser) and the USU homecoming parade. Here are some cute pictures of Chayce and Zachary on a climbing wall and the children at the parade waving American flags.

Huckleberries! Yippee!

The kids in the patch we found.

Working hard!

Picking...sort of...

The berries on the bushes.  This is a good year!

My haul!

The kids got tired of picking, and found this uprooted tree to play on.  They had a great time pretending it was a castle / fairy house.

What a tiring, but wonderful day! All in all...12 cups of berries in three hours.  Not too bad for having to referee kids at the same time!

Fun Park

Zac and friend Carter.

Can you see their tiny selves running around the obstacles?

Payge & friend Hailey

We had a great time on Friday with our new neighbors and friends at the Logan Fun Park.  Zac played laser tag with his friend Carter, though I think watching them run around on the screen was equally entertaining for me.  Payge was so happy to be with Hailey (sp?) and all weekend it's all she talked about.  Even on our huckleberry picking adventure, she asked if she could play with her again when we got home--in between bites of berries, of course.  ;)

First Day of School

Might as well post some photos of that eventful day!  Chayce didn't actually go...right after these were taken she went and emptied her belly in a backwards fashion, and the school rule is no throwing up for 24 hours prior to attendance.  So, she missed day one, but caught right up.

Holiday Grand Plan!

Hello!
FYI, over at Searching For Simple, I've been documenting recipes and posting about following the Holiday Grand Plan that is written by the wonderful woman that brought the world the book House Works!  Their website is free, and all the links are over at Searching For Simple.  Go check it out!

Ghost Girlies!

Stephen had a good time playing with our camera as the girls took turns jumping off the chair into the air as high as they could.  I love that there is no one downstairs to be upset when we do crazy stuff like this!!  We just love the images we ended up with.
